Senior thesis

So I am stuck with writing this senior thesis on what I learned about culture, art and technology.

I thought it would be such an easy task to write 15 pages, but obviously I have writer's block!
Maybe I am thinking too deep about certain topics.

I can't believe it took me a whole day to re-edit everything and I only have 3 pages and over 20 pages of cluttered paragraphs.

CAT 125

So I've been taking CAT course to finish my essay on my piece, but I am having trouble organizing my words.
I am editing and editing until I like what I read.
I probably should edit all my journal entries.
They are all chaotic and random.

This is just an update.
Very pointless.

The second part

Now it is time to create the second half of this project.
I will create an artist book with reflections about my piece incorporating artifacts I have collected through creating this digital folklore.

Exhibit date is set to June 14th & 15th. Maybe 16th until noon.

I need more people to collaborate so I can do the exhibition!
So far I have a few who are interested.
The exhibit will be at the Dog House behind the Gilman Parking Structure of UCSD.

I plan on creating invitations probably during 8th or 9th week.

A surprise

Kitsune.Suzuki/Shinobu hasn't e-mailed all the participants and viewers, but she has not received any angry response (yet).

Maybe they are just thinking that she is just acting.
I am not sure.
I have a feeling that people don't believe Kitsune.Suzuki is a fox, but somewhat acting along to what she is saying because Shinobu who created Kitsune.Suzuki is receiving e-mails of her pen pals confessing that they are pandas or some sort of other spirit.
It's very interesting.

Additionally, there are people who believe that Shinobu has been creating this entire story and I don't really think the viewers of this piece realizes that there is a lot more complicated things going behind this piece.
They will soon find out though when I create a link to another character, which is Remi. Remi is of course myself, but she also becomes a fabricated character within this story.
I am having difficulty explaining what my project is about to people because I start to confuse myself. I need to draw a diagram to make things easier for myself as well as others. I believe if I don't understand what I am doing, all the viewers of my piece would be completely lost.
I must find ways to explain myself a better way.


I am not sure what Kitsune.Suzuki's friends really thought about her last video.
The comments she has been receiving are really nice though.

So I have posted the last video for my character up on youtube.
I really didn't like how she edited the video because I would not edit the way she does, but I tried not to be a perfectionist as much since the character and I are completely different entities.
I wonder how people will react to it after they see this video.
They might not even respond.
hmm.

Tomorrow I will send the links to Brett.

Editing

I am editing the last video for my project where my character reveals her true identity.
This will also be fabricated and throw people off.

I cannot wait to post this and start on my paper.

Finals Week

Soon this digital folklore would be completed where the character reveals her "true" self.
