Practicum Project

"Sixth College's Practicum is a mandatory upper-division requirement that engages students in the creative process. To graduate from Sixth College, you must initiate, plan, and execute a Practicum project that connects your classroom-based experiences and knowledge to the outlying community, while at the same time exploring the interplay of culture, art, and technology" (University of California, San Diego, Sixth College).

2 weeks left

Throughout this project, I have been experiencing a large amount of stress as well as an overwhelming feeling of guilt.
I believe I am pushing myself way too much that I don't feel as I am myself anymore.

The converging of different realities has blended together so much that I don't remember what I've done or the character has done. Our memories start to become the same thing because we are both using the same body.

I am sure my grammar and vocabulary is poor right now because I am tired...this blog will be refined more next quarter.
This upcoming 2 weeks would be the end of my digital folklore and I want to push the limit to how much people will believe and not believe. I would display clues and hints to make her seem fabricated.

I kept changing my mind to comedic to something really depressing, but at the end I think I will be going with the comedic ending for the first half of the story.
The depressing ending seem to be popular with other artists I looked up, so I decided to do something different.

3 months...I cannot believe how much I have done with this character.
I am excited to see how many people will care or not care after this piece is done.
I wonder how many people will call me fake.
I wonder how many people will appreciate or be interested in the fact that they became incorporated into my character's fictional as characters and participants.

Although I have somewhat of a guilt producing this art piece, I feel really happy because this is the biggest collaboration piece I have ever done and without the participants I would have not been able to complete this project.

Collaboration with artists as well as non artist has been something that I have been interested in, so this practicum provided me with an opportunity to do so.
Well...I am sure I could have done it either way, but I believe my school actually pushed me to finish this because it's a graduation requirement.

I believe that everything happens for a reason and somehow my wish to collaborate came true.

I cannot wait to fulfill my goals after I graduate as well.
